The meaning of the word "psyche" comes from Greek, translating as "the breath of life". The word "psychic", also from Greek, means "of the soul, mental".

Psychic awareness is literally a conscious comprehension of the life force or Spirit within us, and the power of the human mind.

Paranormal or psychic abilities have long been feared and considered evil, dangerous, or simply superstitious nonsense used by frauds to take advantage of others assumed to be uneducated or just gullible.

In recent years, science has been able to provide hard evidence to support the experience and claims of those with psychic powers, and to explain psychic phenomenon previously thought to be beyond rational understanding.

Discoveries in quantum physics, the zero point field, the effect of thought and emotion on our bodies and the environment; all point to the fact that everything is connected, and that our minds are not the isolated biological machines we once believed they were.

Developing psychic awareness gives us access to the subconscious mind, the collective human consciousness, and empowers us to have an influence upon the energies that affect our health, relationships, and success in life.
